Tonight, Miami elected its first Democratic mayor in almost 30 years — a sign for Donald Trump that things are not going to plan.
Eileen Higgins, who is also Miami’s first female mayor, beat out a Republican backed by both Trump and Ron DeSantis — the blue wave continues!
In her campaign, Higgins focused on affordability — shocker. While building momentum toward 2026, this is what Dems need to keep focusing: on lowering costs for the American people and building a tent big enough to let these major shifts happen.
