Far-right broadcaster Alex Jones has claimed Donald Trump’s failing health is now so bad that MAGA needs to stage an “intervention.”
A tearful Jones compared Trump, 79, to his late grandfather, who suffered from dementia and “was dead a year before he physically died.”
Speaking on The Alex Jones Show on Tuesday, the host became emotional when he referenced some of the president’s most visible health issues, including his swollen ankles.
“When your ankles swell up three times the size they were before, that means heart failure,” Jones said, diagnosing the president’s health.
Jones then discussed the president’s cognitive and memory issues, which have led him to go off-script and ramble during lengthy speeches.
“He does look sick,” the conspiracy theorist said. “And he does babble... and sounds like the brain’s not doing too hot.”
Jones told his conservative audience it was time to “cut bait on Trump” to mobilize a new Republican against the Democrats.
Jones claimed that “the people rallied around” Trump, including Secretary of Defense Peter Hegseth and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, were “freaked out” by the president’s health and behavior, but remained “loyal” to him.
“I just think Trump needs an intervention,” Jones said. “He needs to take some time off, we need to pray for Trump that the Holy Spirit touches his heart and loosen him from whatever evil control he’s under.”
Jones also discussed Trump’s sinking popularity, especially after starting his war on Iran, which has led to increased gas prices for Americans.
