Epstein Vote PASSES With Mike Johnson 'Kicking and Screaming'

Can't wait to see Trump crash out about this later

In a massive win for Epstein’s survivors (and all of America), the House overwhelmingly agreed that the Epstein files should be released — despite the tantrums House Republicans threw to prevent this from happening, including refusing to bring the House back and swear in Rep. Adelita Grijalva for weeks.

Trump spent months begging Republicans to make sure this bill never saw the House floor (probably because they contain proof of Trump following in Nancy Reagan’s footsteps), but switched up, likely to avoid a humiliating loss when the bill finally came to a vote this afternoon. Only one member voted against the measure — Rep. Clay Higgins, a far right representative from Louisiana.

Now, Republicans are trying to flip the story and pretend they’ve been for releasing the Epstein files the whole time, even though they fought tooth and nail against it for months and attacked any Republican that broke ranks — just ask Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Massie said that Mike Johnson was dragged to the vote ‘kicking and screaming,’ but ultimately did vote in favor of releasing the files — something, Democrats noted, that could’ve been done even without a vote.

“Donald Trump could release these files on his own,” said Rep. Jim McGovern. “They have tried to block this day for months and months and months.”

Now, it’s up to the Republicans in the Senate to pass the bill, Trump to sign it (which he said he will do), and the Department of Justice to actually release the files.
