Lauren Boebert BLOWS UP Scandal and Calls on Fellow Republican to RESIGN
Broken clocks are still right twice a day.
Lauren Boebert joined the left in calling for Rep. Tony Gonzales’s resignation earlier today after incriminating texts were released about an alleged affair he had with a married former staffer that killed herself last year.
The staffer, Regina Santos-Aviles, set herself on fire a few months ago and tragically died from her injuries. Another former Gonzales staffer, and reportedly one of Santos-Aviles’s best friends, revealed that Santos-Aviles was suffering from depression as a result of the affair because her husband found out and the Congressman then ended things.
Gonzales denies the affair and is trying to blame his primary opponent for bringing up the story, but the unnamed former staffer produced text messages in which the Congressman confirms it, and new text messages released yesterday show the Congressman sending Santos-Aviles inappropriate texts.
In the texts, Gonzales asks for ‘sexy pics’ and Santos-Aviles tells him no and twice says he’s going too far — but he kept pushing, and she finally agreed to meet him. Just a few months later, she killed herself, leaving behind a husband and an 8 year-old son.
His actions resulted in Lauren Boebert and Nancy Mace calling for his resignation. Mike Johnson wouldn’t say he should resign, but did say that they were serious allegations that should be addressed.
MAGA literally cannot stop themselves from taking advantage of women and leaving them and their families to suffer — Tony Gonzales needs to resign. His inability to take ownership of his actions led to the death of a woman and a mother — but sure, they’re the ‘pro-life’ party.
Speaking of MAGA men that hate women, Donald Trump demonstrated once again how little he cares about half the country, ‘joking’ with the US men’s hockey team that he would ‘have to bring the women’s team’ to the State of the Union tonight since he’s inviting the men.
The same US men’s team that thought the coolest thing to do after winning a gold medal is partying with Kash Patel (on our tax dollars, mind you) — just a bunch of freaks. The men seemed to think Trump’s quip about inviting the women was hilarious.
Turns out, Trump actually doesn’t need to invite him! They declined his invitation.
