What really pisses me off us that the government has turned into this large scale "For Profit" business and the customer who has almost no negotiating power is the American people. The US government is paid for entirely by us, the citizens. Its entire purpose is to serve and protect us not profit from us. Healthcare, Education and Public service programs should be the priority.
As for Social Security, it's money we agreed to let the government hold exclusively for the purpose of our withdrawal upon retirement. Not a hand out and certainly not money the government has any authority to use otherwise. If I could get a cash out option, I would likely take it.

I thought that for a long time too...but I was hacked...my facebook title page stolen and reposted by an idiot...it was disheartening...If you look up Jack Blake and it still shows my sculpted garden DRAGON eating apples in our garden...that's the person who stole my page...and facebook people could care less that that happened to me even though I yelled loudly...check it out...I was reaching so many people that I had communicated and discussed many PEACEFUL matter s for for many years...

I joined Blue Sky this summer, and agree that it is a more congenial environment than FB. For the local scene, there's also NextDoor. I joined it this summer too. It's good to connect with folks in your immediate area.
