Who Owns the United States?

Hint: It's not Americans

It’s only illegal to burn one flag in the United States — and it’s Israel’s.

A week after Israel killed an entire Al Jazeera crew and months after Israel has massacred an entire population while the rest of the world watches, a US federal judge ruled that it is now illegal to burn the Israeli flag, equating it to the entire Jewish race.

This is a real issue of purposefully misconstruing Israel and Jewish people that has allowed the Trump admin and their Zionist allies to get away with calling pro-Palestine protesters anti-semitic — a phenomenon my alma mater and others unfortunately immediately capitulated to.

This also came immediately after Trump had American soldiers on their knees rolling out a (literal) red carpet for notorious war criminal Vladamir Putin — it’s not looking so good for the “America First” folks right now. Beyond the genuine security issues we saw this weekend during the Trump-Putin summit, like Trump and Putin getting some alone time in The Beast (and looking thrilled about it — creepy) to the classified documents left behind on a hotel printer by Trump staffers that included phone numbers of officials, sensitive information about the summit that wasn’t yet public, and more, the sheer absurdity of it only being illegal to burn one country’s flag, and it not even being this country’s, is insane.

It’s clear that Trump places a higher value on Putin and Netanyahu’s wishes than those of the American people that he serves, and his increasingly incompetent, evil, or both admin is helping him get away with selling America out to the highest bidder. And in keeping with his general theme of protecting sex offenders, Israeli Cyber Chief Tom Artiom Alexandrovich was arrested earlier this month in a child predator sting, but the Trump admin personally intervened and sent him home. Alexandrovich will now face zero consequences for his felony charge of luring or attempting to lure a child with computer technology to engage in sexual conduct.

While selling out to foreign genocidal powers, Trump is also making his fascist moves in DC as clear as day by deploying federal troops to harass residents and arrest the most vulnerable of our population. Officers have been seen on the war-torn streets of Dupont Circle, and residents have responded with protests, anti-police chants, and sandwiches. Trump also initially tried to control the city’s entire police department, but was forced to back down after city officials took them to court.

West Virginia, South Carolina, and Ohio have committed to sending troops as well to combat the crime and lawlessness that Trump claimed have gripped the city (homicides have dropped by 32% between 2023 and 2024 and reached their lowest level since 2019, and violent crime is down 26% this year compared to this time last year). I’ll let you guess what party the governors of those states belong to.

Trump’s dictatorial actions and him bending the knee to Russia and Israel directly go against America’s core beliefs of freedom and the power of the people, and we need to keep fighting. Thousands of people protested in DC this weekend and are out fighting against federal troops in our capital city every day. Support them, join them if you can, and amplify them — I know I will be.
