I never thought I would agree with MTG but this shutdown is just an extension of the last one where we agreed to continue the Government funding while we renegotiated those healthcare issues. Obviously that never got done and here we are with no time left until the next medical season leaving the ACA to expire and premiums to skyrocket.
Remember when she angrily accused Biden of lying when he (accurately!) pointed out that (what's left of) the Republican Party intended to attack healthcare for U.S. citizens?

Most importantly, however, I remember her multiple attacks on the Democrats and how she had defended Trump over and over and over again. Now she is "suddenly Democrat's best friend in the fight"?
I don't believe her shifting now to be out of kindness, real concern for her constituents, the american people or even the Epstein's victimes. She was losing popularity among her constituents (if any concerns at all, maybe, purhaps, for her children). That woman cares more about not losing her status and the position that has enriched her. She cares more about not losing her next election.
MTG has been alienated by her own Republican party. In addition, and notwithstanding her distasteful advances (like the cardboard) and strong efforts to please Trump, she has been snubbed by him time and time again. Maybe she is too vulgar (or just a wild guess, too old) for his likings?!
In my opinion, MTG is acting more like a SCORNED woman, rather than a regarded representative for and of the people.
