I was originally of the thinking that I didn’t need to know what happened to those children or by whom. As many others, I have my own trauma. But, the more that has been redacted, lied about and just simply belittled, has made my heart hurt for those children. The years that they have been promised justice. Anonymity. Peace. All lies to shut them down even further. I’ve tried several times to read Virginia’s book but the atrocities that poor child endured in the first 2 chapters broke me. To all of these brave, strong and wonderful women, I say, Thank you. You speak for many and your strength is miraculous.
